Rose Tea

FullSizeRenderThis song is for you, rose tea… I don’t often drink rose bud tea on its own, but I like to add a little scoop of it to my green tea to add a light fruity flavour. Other than being delicious, rose bud tea may also have some health benefits. I’ve read that the tea can help with relieving menstrual cramps if you drink it regularly. The rose buds are also rich in Polyphenols and Vitamin C! Try making some at home:

  • 2 teaspoons of dried rose buds
  • 1 cup of water
  • bring water to a boil, then let it sit for about 10 seconds to cool before adding in the rose buds
  • cover and steep for at least 3 minutes
