Kimchi and Mango Salsa Avocado toast

Avocado toast makes a great breakfast or snack. The basics of avo toast are of course avocado and toast, but the combinations of topping that you can add are endless! We will be posting many different avo toast recipes – this one mixes sweet with some heat…


  • 1 piece of bread

I like to use the brand Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery’s ‘Hemptation’. This bread is made from sprouted whole grains, all organic, non-GMO ingredients, is vegan (so dairy free), and contains no artificial preservatives

  • 1 heaping spoonful of Kimchi

I used the brand Wildbrine’s ‘Japanese Miso Horseradish‘. Kimchi is a fermented food, so it is full of probiotics that are beneficial to our gastrointestinal and immune systems

  • 1/2 of a ripe avocado
  • 1 heaping spoonful of mango salsa

Mango salsa is just cubes of mango with some red onion, lime juice and salt


Toast the bread, and load it up with the above ingredients! You can also sprinkle on some hemp hearts or chia/flax seeds, or pair it with an egg to add in some protein.
