This smoothie is very refreshing because of the cucumber and kiwi, and full of plant based protein from spirulina, hemp hearts and vega one powder.
- Spirulina – this blue-green algae is often called “nature’s most perfect food” as it is a complete protein, contains B vitamins, chlorophyll and other vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
- Hemp Hearts – full of protein and essential fatty acids, including linoleic acid, omega-6, and omega-3. It is also rich in vitamin E, calcium, potassium and magnesium
- Vega One Nutritional Shake – this plant based protein powder is vegan, gluten-free and has no added sugar. A single scoop has 15g of complete protein, and 2 servings of veggies
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Banana
- 2 Kiwis
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 1 1/2 cups of filtered water
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 1 scoop of Vega One French Vanilla Nutritional Shake (optional)
- 1 tsp Spirulina
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients except for spirulina in a high powered blender and blend until smooth
- Pour into a glass and then stir in the spirulina for a beautiful looking finish
