Each month we will be focusing on a book, either featuring one that we love, or something new that we can explore with you!
For the month of March we will be focusing on the book, Joyous Health, Eat and Live Well Without Dieting by Joy McCarthy, which features many healthy and delicious recipes, as well as a great deal of easy to understand holistic health information.

This banana bread is delicious and doesn’t have any refined sugar in it! After I made it, I used some of it to make french toast!

I chose to start our book club with Joyous Health because this was the first book I read when I started to become interested in living a healthier lifestyle. I found it to be very informative, easy to read and understand, and it made me excited to start eating clean!
I also love that Joy is a Canadian from Toronto (the 6 – represent) because that allowed me to hear her speak in person at a local Whole Foods! Joy is a holistic nutritionist, so if you live in the area you can actually book an appointment with her to work on your health!
